Why?
It was the first big project of our home renovation, it was the need but also the desire for a second bathroom as an ensuite via a walk-in robe. A place for the adults, functional, yet modern and luxurious.
What was required:
Another cliff top site where they reclaimed real estate by building a palisade wall and filling with Polyrock. This process resulted in a 10m extension across the full width of the property. With this land gain, they created an infinity pool and glass loggia. The original house was demolished back to its framework then rebuilt, extending it to double the size.
It was also dug out an underground wine cellar complete with an elevator.
